“Carpenter says three to four cups of coffee a day isn’t dangerous over the long term.”
Coffee, unlike alcohol, is an acquired taste that I’ve actually sort of acquired over the years. But my max is two cups – usually in the form of one “serving” – and many days (half or more, I would guess) I don’t have any at all. I am not one of those “I haven’t had my coffee yet” people, and I have no desire to ever be one.
There are many people who would drink good beer even if all it did was increase their number of trips to the bathroom. This always surprises me, because I find 100% of beer to be super gross.
(Cue the “you have to try more beers” argument. I know, I know. I should probably try more Thai food, too, but that’s not gonna happen either. You had your chance, beer – you blew it. Sorry.)
But I think I’m like that with coffee, given that I like coffee ice cream, coffee milk, and coffee cake. Screw the buzz (which I usually don’t notice, and when I do, I don’t like. I really AM here for the deliciousness.
